Dry Skin

Weekly Skin Maintenance

Lets be honest, not everybody has the time or desire to give your face the dedication it deserves, when applying skin care products. Especially every day! But the stresses we put our skin through daily by applying makeup daily, not cleaning your face, or not protecting your skin from sun rays can start to take its tole on your face. And I don't mean just by more wrinkles, and dry patches on your face; but the overall health of your skin. So if you are to busy or tired to take the time out of your schedule to apply face products daily, you can still find one to two nights a week, where you can use the below skin regime to rejuvenate the health of your skin, by using products available at Mission Beauty Salon & Spa:

Step 1--Cleanse

Select a Cleanser suited to your skin type. Place a small amount of cleanser into your hands and emulsify with lukewarm water. Apply to the face in a circular motion, covering the entire face for 30 seconds. Remove from the skin while gently scrubbing with a damp face cloth or sponge and rinse thoroughly, alternating with warm and cold water. This action will remove dirt, pollution and impurities from the skin's surface and prepare it for the next step. As we start the beginning of spring, and summer is only a few months away a skin problem most of us will face is dry, dehydrated skin. So I recommend the Lemon Cleanser by Eminence, a hydrating cream cleanser for normal/dehydrated/dry skin types. A refreshing one-step cleanser for all skin types. Lemon, a great antioxidant, and herb oils preserve moisture balance while gently cleansing your skin, leaving it soft and velvety. The scent is absolutely marvelous!

Step 2--Exfoliate

It is important to exfoliate your skin at least once or twice per week to help remove dead skin cells and dirt that can dull your complexion. to exfoliate, first cleanse the skin in Step 1, then apply the exfoliate suited to your skin type and allow to dry for 5-10 minutes. Use a face cloth moistened with lukewarm water to gently scrub off the dried exfoliate  masque using a circular motion while scrubbing. Rinse thoroughly with clear water. Using the Pear & Poppy Seed Microderm Polisher by Eminence, a gentle exfoliating masque for all skin types. Polish your skin to perfection with the natural microdermabrasion action of poppy seeds and fine walnut. Scrumptious pear and apple pulp infuse your skin with bioflavonoids and antioxidants. all signs of roughness and dryness will be smoothed away to leave a smooth and glowing complexion.

Step 3--Masque

Find a masque suited to your skin type or to the condition that you are treating. Emulsify a small amount of the masque in your hand with a few drops of water and apply evenly over the entire face and neck areas as well as the decollete, if desired. Allow the masque to dry for 5-10 minutes. Use a face cloth or sponge moistened with lukewarm water to gently scrub off the masque using a circular motion. rinse thoroughly with clear water. The Gingko Biloba Masque by Eminence, is a cellular regenerating masque for dry/dehydrated/mature skin. Pure gingko extract increases collagen production while reducing free radicals. Skin's elasticity and texture are improved with wheat germ oil, honey and lavender oil. Complexion is left vibrant, youthful and soft.

Step 4--Tone

Apply one to two sprays of toner, suited for your skin type, over the entire face and leave on. Step 5--Treat
