The Do’s and Don’ts for office-ready Beauty!

We all know that we need to be presentable at work. Wet hair, smudged eyeliner, and chipped nails are a definite No-no. Many of us struggle with the balance of being presentable and looking fabulous. Today, I’m going to list a few tricks that blend well in an Office environment, and make you look beautiful!
Tip 1: Don't shy away from color, especially when it comes to lipstick. Red lipstick looks right, even in a boardroom. Shy away from glosses and try a matte, creamy lipstick like Bellisima Lip Colour by Mirabella. A Perfect red mouth, with a bit of blush and a neutral eye shadow, always looks appropriate.

(Trick: to ensure the lipstick doesn't bleed, fill in your lips with a nude pencil before applying, I recommend the Lip Pencil by Colorescience.)

Bold makeup can work at the office, but some people shy away from the bold look. Simple makeup is never a bad idea, especially for meetings and impromptu luncheons.

Tip 2: With a swipe of moisturizer to make your skin shine, combine it with mascara, concealer, and a little blush adds just enough polish to your appearance to make you look fresh, and beautiful. A great mascara to try would be the Purelash Lengthening Mascara by Jane Iredale. This amazing mascara has added Dex-Panthenol to the formula in liposome form, so that with every swipe you add a conditioner to your lashes!

Hair, on the other hand, isn't always so simple. Some of us spend hours each morning blow drying, curling, ironing and teasing our tresses. For a perfectly sleek 'do, a professional blow dry--also known as a blowout--is worth the cash.

Tip 3: If you're weary about spending money on something you can do for yourself, invest in the Haute Mess Dry Shampoo by Hempz. This product instantly absorbs the oils in hair, and gives hair a soft, matte finish without caking.

(Trick: To give hair that extra oomph—just apply it at your roots all over your head and brush through.)

Just remember looking presentable for work, doesn't mean you have to look boring! Get the products I recommended at MissionBeautyOnline.com
